Five full-time consultants with extensive training and qualifications from reputable institutions and years of experience in both the public and private sectors make up the anesthesia department at SOGH Orthopedic & General Hospital. The Department's technical team has been thoroughly qualified and approved by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, Health Care Commission. The department manages ten operating rooms, twelve surgical intensive care unit beds, and a surgical intensive care unit. The consultants and staff are accessible 24/7 for scheduled procedures during the day and are ready for emergencies on the weekends and at night.
Preoperative anesthesia care, acute post-operative pain management, well-equipped surgical intensive care, labor epidural analgesia, sedation, and anesthesia care outside of the hospital are just a few of the many services provided by the anesthesia department.
